Make own tempeh
It is very easy and rewarding to make tempeh at home. All you need are some soybeans, a bit of tempeh starter and a warm place to incubate.

Tempeh Sloppy Joes

Recipe ingredients

 200 g tempeh, crumbled
 2 Tbs vegetable oil
 1 medium onion, chopped
 1 celery stalk, dices
 1 Tbs shoyu or tamari
 100 g barbecue sauce
 4 buns

Recipe directions

Heat the oil in a skillet and saute tempeh, onions and celery until tempeh is lightly browned.

Add barbecue sauce, and simmer for 10 minutes.

Serve in sliced buns. Optionally add some tomato slices and lettuce leaves.
