Marinated Tempeh

| 500 g tempeh, cut into slices or cubes (depends on recipe) |
| 200 ml water or vegetable broth |
| 2 cloves garlic, crushed |
| 1 Tbs vinegar |
| 2 slices fresh ginger |
| 2 Tbs tamari or soy sauce |
Recipe directions
Combine all ingredients in a dish, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
Transfer ingredients to a saucepan. Simmer, covered, for 20 minutes, turning tempeh once. Remove tempeh, and refrigerate for up to 4 days.
This marinated tempeh can be used as ingredient in a variety of recipes. Or you can bake the slices in oil until crispy and eat them!
